Mainstream, commercial Hip-Hop not as interesting to you as it used to
be? I totally know how you feel. But there's no denying that there's an
underground, independent realm of Hip-Hop that's still driving the
genre forward, producing some of the more unique artists we've seen.
And that's exactly what Paid Dues Festival organizer, Murs, set out to
prove with the first fest last year in LA. It was such a success that
he's decided to turn it into an annual event, and eventually even a
national tour.
San
Bernardino's Nos Events Center will play host to the second annual Paid
Dues Festival, on March 24. Here's the deets from their press peeps...
Presented
by MURS 3:16 in association with Guerilla Union, PAID DUES promises to
prove itself as the premiere festival for independent hip-hop with
billing that includes talents like Felt, Sage Francis, Brother Ali and
more.
2007 PAID DUES line-up

You're forgetting about one of those most memorable Hip Hop festivals to hit California in recent years. We the People Festival. Last years show was a huge success so for sure I'll be attending again.
