Tool fans will be distressed to learn that their upcoming tour has been
postponed indefinitely, due to an injury in the band. Drummer Danny
Carey underwent surgery yesterday for a torn bicep. Yeah, I guess a
drummer really can't go without a bicep. Ack. Thankfully, their website
reports that his surgery went smoothly and he is recovering well.
Rescheduled dates have yet to be announced, according to Billboard.com, who reported, "It
is expected the band will be able to honor a previously announced
co-headlining appearance at the Bonnaroo Festival in mid-June in
Manchester, Tenn."
Ticket holders, fear not. According to the band's official website, "Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly."
