OZZFEST 2007 WILL BE FREE
Yes, that's straight from the lips of Sharon Osbourne, and the spray paint can of Ozzy Osbourne. The news was just given about 10 minutes ago at a press conference called to announce "big news" about Ozzfest 2007. And yes, this IS big news. Very big news.
What does it mean? It all comes down to a free ticket. Yes, you'll need to present a ticket at the gate, but you won't have to pay to get it. More information about how to get your hands on one of them there free tickets will be forthcoming from Live Nation. In the meantime, the tour will hit 27 major cities at outdoor sheds (amphitheatres and such). They wouldn't breathe a word about the lineup, other than to say that Ozzy WILL be performing. Yes, Zakk Wylde will be playing. No, Sabbath will not.
More big news: Any hard rock band that is willing to play for free can be considered for the lineup! So contact Live Nation, if your band wants to get on Ozzfest 2007!
